The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) has scheduled a public information meeting for Thursday, November 9, 2017, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., concerning the proposed Woodruff Road Congestion Relief project in Greenville County. The meeting will be held at Roper Mountain Road Baptist Church, 300 Roper Mountain Road Extension, in Greenville. The meeting will have a drop-in type format with displays for viewing and citizens will have the opportunity to provide written comments. Project information, including meeting materials and comment forms will also be available on the project website, www.fixwoodruffroad.com.
The purpose of the meeting is to provide an opportunity to review and discuss individually with representatives from SCDOT the proposed Woodruff Road Congestion Relief project, located in the City of Greenville in Greenville County. The proposed improvements are needed to accommodate current and future traffic demand along this corridor. Another purpose of the meeting is to gather information from the public or any interested organization on historic or cultural resources in the area. Personnel from and representing SCDOT will be available to answer questions and discuss the project with interested citizens on an individual basis.
