The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) plans to close one lane on the southbound Farrow Road Bridge in Richland County this weekend to place the final section of latex overlay.
Crews will shut down the lane Friday, June 23, at 6 p.m. The lane will be reopened by 7 a.m. Monday, June 26. One southbound lane will remain open to traffic throughout construction. Northbound lanes will not be affected.
Repairs to the bridge are expected to be completed by mid-summer. For more information, the public may contact SCDOT's Allen Thompson at (803) 699-5068.
