SCDOT Continues Debris Pickup in Five Counties                    

Contractors working for the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) to pick up flooding debris are working in the following counties on October 31:

Georgetown County - Debris removal will occur today on Navaho Trail, Cree Trail, Pinewood Dr., Dunbar Rd. and Washington Hill Dr.

Lexington County – Debris crews will be working in Pine Glenn and Coldstream areas.

Richland County - Debris removal will continue in Forest Acres, Arcadia Lakes and in the Congaree Church, and Eastover area.

Sumter - Debris crews will be in the Lee, Wilson, Lemmon and Pickney areas.

Williamsburg - Debris crews will be working along Gilland and Monroe streets.

Property owners are reminded to separate debris into the categories illustrated in the attached chart. Also note that contractors are collecting debris by category, so not all debris may be taken away at one time. Contractors will make return trips to gather the categorized items.
