Bridge on Marthan Road in Richland County to be Closed for Repair

The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) plans to repair the bridge over I-77 on Marthan Road (S-40-1695) near Blythewood in Richland County.

The bridge will be closed on Dec. 1, 2014. Barring any unforeseen delays, the bridge should be reopened to traffic by Jan. 2, 2015. Repairs are to include deck patching.
 
Traffic will be detoured along Wilson Boulevard (US 21), North Pines Road (S-40-1437) and Farrow Road (SC 555) with an overall travel length of 2.2 miles.
