The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) has scheduled a public information meeting Thursday, Oct. 30, 2014 in Orangeburg County to present the proposed improvements at US 601 (Magnolia Street) and S-1099 (Zan Street) in the City of Orangeburg.
The meeting will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., at William J. Clark Middle School (cafeteria), 919 Bennett St., Orangeburg. The meeting will have a drop-in format, with displays, informational handouts and comment forms.
The purpose of the meeting is to present the proposed improvements and solicit feedback from area residents. Another purpose of the meeting will be to gather information from the public or any interested organization on historic or cultural resources in the community. Personnel from SCDOT will be available to discuss the project with interested citizens on an individual basis.
